I’m Adrienne—a wife, mom, corporate sales professional, homebody, gardener, chicken keeper, DIY enthusiast, and someone who has always believed that the ordinary parts of life can be some of the most beautiful.
For a long time, I thought those parts of my life belonged in separate boxes.
There was work.
There was home.
There was family.
There were the things I dreamed about doing “someday.”
And then there was real life—which rarely leaves enough room for any of it.
But I’ve started realizing that maybe the point isn’t to separate all of these things.
Maybe the point is to bring them together.
Welcome to my little corner of the world.
Hubbard Field & Fable is my place to do exactly that.
It’s where I get to share the things I’m learning, creating, cooking, growing, fixing, planning, and enjoying along the way.
Some days that might mean getting up before sunrise with a cup of coffee and my Bible before heading into the corporate world.
Other days it might mean coming home from work, changing clothes, checking on the chickens, collecting eggs, watering the garden, and figuring out what’s going into the crockpot for dinner.
Sometimes it’s a weekend DIY project that takes longer than expected.
Sometimes it’s planting flowers just because I want to see them bloom.
Sometimes it’s making something from scratch.
Sometimes it’s traveling somewhere beautiful with my husband.
And sometimes it’s simply sitting at home and appreciating the little things I usually rush past.
That’s the life I want to document.
Not a perfect life.
A lived-in one.
Field, Fable & Family
At the heart of Hubbard Field & Fable are three things:
Field.
The garden. The chickens. Growing things. Working with my hands. Learning how to make our little piece of land feel more like home.
Fable.
The stories we create along the way—the traditions, recipes, projects, travels, seasonal rituals, cozy evenings, and little moments that become memories.
Family.
The people who make all of it matter.
My husband, our boys, our home, our traditions, our celebrations, our busy schedules, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family.
These three things overlap constantly.
A garden becomes dinner.
Dinner becomes a family tradition.
A weekend project becomes a story.
A chicken coop becomes a collection of funny memories.
A house becomes a home.
And an ordinary Tuesday becomes something worth remembering.
